Zouma Ancient Town, located in the heart of Bayu, is adjacent to Bishan in the west and has a history of over 700 years. It has been named by the municipal government as the ‘Hometown of Folk Literature’ and a ‘Famous Historical and Cultural Town’. As early as the mid-Ming Dynasty, Zouma had a post station and has been a necessary route for merchants traveling between Yuzhou and Shudu since ancient times. The coming and going of travelers brought various news to Zouma Ancient Town, and countless folk cultural works and stories were created and passed down through generations. Today, Zouma Ancient Town still has many historical sites, including the remains of ancient post roads, old street blocks, blacksmith shops, old tea houses, ancient buildings such as Ming and Qing Dynasty opera houses, Sun Family Mansion, and the ruins of Ciyun Temple. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.
