The Jialing River Bridge in Chongqing is also known as the Niujiaotuo Jialing River Bridge. It was completed and opened to traffic in 1966. The bridge is more than 600 meters long. The approach bridge on the south bank is a simply supported beam with one span of 22 meters. The approach bridge on the north bank is a simply supported beam with seven spans of about 23 meters.
