Butterfly Valley’s original forest adventure route is located in Tianhu Scenic Area, one of the three major scenic spots of Dinghu Mountain. It is composed of three parts: a clear lake, a small island, and a forest. The lake is named Dinghu, which is a large lake in Dinghu Mountain with emerald green waters. The only way to enter Butterfly Valley is by taking an ecological wooden boat.
The small island is called the Island of Wishes, which features a colorful Butterfly Garden, Butterfly Wing Gallery, antique tea house, self-service butterfly art, and a wishing tree, among other attractions. Upon reaching the Island of Wishes and approaching the Butterfly Garden, you are suddenly amazed. Inside the garden, thousands of butterflies dance in the air, fluttering right before your eyes. Dozens of varieties of butterflies, numbering in the tens of thousands, emerge, beginning their brief yet splendid lives. Their life cycle is distinctly divided into four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult (butterfly), with the entire life cycle lasting approximately 2-3 weeks. After the butterflies in the garden naturally die, the butterfly breeders in the valley collect their beautiful wings. These wings, after processing, can be reused to create beautiful and unique pictures based on their shape and color. Among them, the ‘First Butterfly Wing Painting of China’ is a masterpiece, spanning 38 meters and composed of approximately 100,000 butterfly wings of various species, depicting the scenery of the Zhaoqing Qianli Tourism Corridor.
