The Huanghuayuan Bridge in Chongqing is located on the Jialing River in the main urban area of Chongqing. It connects Huanghuayuan in Yuzhong District and Liao Jiatai in Jiangbei District. The main bridge is 1,208 meters long and has six lanes in both directions. Construction started on December 26, 1996 and was completed at the end of 1999. This bridge is a key project of the central ring road in Chongqing. Its completion has alleviated traffic congestion on the牛角沱 Jialing River Bridge and in the Guanyinqiao area.
