Santonggou is located in Changshou City, part of a sandstone fault canyon belt with a cross-section shaped like a ‘V’. The height difference between the top and bottom of the canyon is approximately 160 meters, with the three caves spaced 2000 meters apart. From the first cave to the second, it is about 1300 meters, and between the second and third caves, it is over 700 meters. Traveling from north to south, it forms a mountain canyon with a total length of about 2.4 kilometers. The east, west, and north sides are sheer cliffs, presenting a spectacular and perilous scene, full of interest and charm. The cliffs on both sides of the valley are adorned with grotesque rocks, and the streams are filled with overlapping boulders, with water flowing through them like celestial music, creating a misty and dreamlike atmosphere around the deep valley…
