Longduo Mountain is characterized by its towering and elegant peaks, undulating ridges, and sinuous flight, resembling a dragon coiled, hence its name. Situated at the border of Mengzi Township in Tongnan County, Longhu Town in Hechuan District, and Chishui, it is 60 kilometers away from the main city of Hechuan District and 20 kilometers from the county town of Tongnan. The main peak is in Hechuan, with an elevation of 619 meters, a relative height of 242 meters, and an elevation of 583 meters within Tongnan.
At the foot of the mountain, there are the ruins of the old Chishui County, and on the mountain, there are temples for both Buddhism and Taoism, with numerous cultural relics, making it a famous mountain for both Buddhist and Taoist practices and a scenic spot in Sichuan. The scenic spots of Longduo Mountain can be divided into two categories: historical site legends and natural scenery. Historical site legend spots include the Bashu Boundary Stone, located on the north side of the mountain, where a large stone is broken in the middle, said to be the boundary line between the ancient states of Ba and Shu. Natural scenery spots include: Jiutai Xianrui, Feixian Liuquan, Guaishi Xiansong, Qingyan Raocu, Huanglong Tumu, Chicheng Jiu Ji, Hengjiang Bai Lian, and Qunfeng Duicui, known as the Eight Scenic Spots of Longduo Mountain.
