**David Zwirner Presents Amadeo Luciano Lorenzato Exhibition in Hong Kong**
*Hong Kong, 2024 — David Zwirner is honored to present an exhibition of paintings by Brazilian artist Amadeo Luciano Lorenzato (1900-1995), to be held at the gallery in Hong Kong. This marks Lorenzato’s third solo exhibition at the gallery and his first presentation in Asia.*
*The exhibition coincides with Lorenzato’s participation in the 60th Venice Biennale, organized by curator Adriano Pedrosa, which will run until November 24, 2024.*
*As one of the most important Brazilian artists of his generation, Lorenzato created a unique body of work that centers on his meticulous observations of everyday themes in his hometown of Belo Horizonte, including favelas, semi-urban landscapes, and scenes of agriculture and rural industry.*
*Lorenzato’s distinctive compositions are characterized by reduced geometric shapes and dense textured surfaces, achieved by the artist using a variety of rich, homemade pigments applied with brushes, combs, and forks.*
*Lorenzato’s canvases are filled with confident expressive freedom, skillfully capturing the vitality of the artist’s surroundings and the colors and textures of the natural world.*
