Yangzhou, also known as Du’aozhou, is a local island administratively belonging to the Sai Kung District. It is located in the sea area opposite Sai Kung City, south of Dazhou and Lajizhu, north of Baishazhu, and west of Zhuangtou, Dashazhou, and Xiaoshazhou.

Yangzhou is an island relatively close to Sai Kung City, boasting a beautiful natural environment and abundant resources. Species such as the white-bellied sea eagle inhabit the area, and apart from the Kuang family’s giant tomb, the rest of the island remains undeveloped.

The Sai Kung District Council has proposed to launch a scheduled ferry service from the Sai Kung pier or to construct a suspension bridge connecting the Sai Kung pier and Yangzhou. Additionally, they suggest building a nature education trail around the island to open up new scenic spots for hiking.
