Xiang Hai Ci Hang Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the San Die Tan area of Tsuen Wan’s Old Enclosure Village. It is also known as the ‘Fishing Boat Temple’ due to its resemblance to a fishing boat and its location beside the San Die Tan, where the sound of the stream is melodious during the rainy season.
The temple primarily worships the Bodhisattva Guanyin. Constructed in 1960, it was originally named ‘Guanyin Rock’ and is said to have been designed and built by the villagers of Old Enclosure Village, inspired by the fishing boats of the South China Sea.
