The goddess returns! Kudo Shizuka, who has been active in the entertainment industry with singing performances, is returning to Hong Kong for a performance after 31 years. This marks her return to the stage since her two performances in 1993.
Shizuka is not just a singer; she has been writing lyrics for her own songs under the name ‘Aieiri’ since her debut in 1984. Over the years, she has released an impressive 48 singles and 18 albums. Among these, 11 singles and 4 albums have topped the Japanese ORICON sales chart.
Her 18th album, ‘Mirror-like Still Water,’ was released on July 3rd this year. Shizuka not only participated in the lyrics and composition but also arranged for her youngest daughter, Koki, to be the heroine of the MV ‘Mizzle’ for the first time.
This time, Shizuka’s return performance will feature a mix of golden oldies and new songs. It promises to be a lively evening with Hong Kong music fans. With only one performance scheduled, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
