The Lin Village Wishing Tree is located in Lin Village, Tai Po. It is a famous wishing place locally and is situated beside the Tin Hau Temple built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. There are two wishing trees in Lin Village. The wishing tree at the entrance of the village is in front of the Lin Village archway. It is huge in size and its trunk requires four or five people to hug. It is about two or three hundred years old. It has a majestic and powerful appearance and lush branches and leaves. The wishing tree inside the village is on the right side of the public office. It has a thin shape and a short trunk. Opening hours: Open from 9:00 to 17:00 all year round.
