Kam Shan Country Park is located to the north of Kowloon, Hong Kong, and is renowned for its monkeys. Despite its small size, the park boasts beautiful scenery and features four reservoirs within its premises, including Kowloon Reservoir, Shek Lei Pui Reservoir, Kowloon Intake Reservoir, and Kowloon Auxiliary Reservoir. Monkeys are ubiquitous throughout Kam Shan Country Park and are not afraid of humans, often snatching food from picnickers. In the early morning and late evening, the wild monkeys may even provoke passers-by. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day, with specific operating conditions subject to the day’s opening status.
