Tsim Bei Tsui is located in the northwest of the New Territories, facing Deep Bay and adjacent to Mai Po. Looking east, one can overlook the natural scenery of Mai Po. Looking west, one can see the scenery of Deep Bay and Shenzhen. There is also a mangrove forest on the shore. Due to the large amount of sediment scouring by the Shenzhen River all year round, the coast there has been eroded into a vast bay. When the tide ebbs, the river sand by the sea recedes into a vast mudflat, providing food for the organisms in this area.
