Huoshi Island is an island in the local area. Administratively, it belongs to Sai Kung District. It is located south of Hutoufenzhou Island, Hengzhou Island, and Sanzhou Island, west of Shatangkou Mountain, and north of Guozhou Islands. There are no residents living on Huoshi Island. Huoshi Island is one of the few restricted areas. The sea surface near it is all the firing range of Huoshi Island, which is used for training and using firearms. If entering without approval, one may be injured by stray bullets. There is an air crash monument on the island. The Lanwanjiao Cave on the island is a famous scenic spot.
