The Volcano Discovery Museum is located in Sai Kung City. It has convenient transportation and is easy to reach.
Inside the museum, there are exhibits on the formation process of hexagonal rock columns from all over the world, basic knowledge of volcanology, volcanic structure, volcanic eruption methods, types of plate boundaries, and igneous rocks produced by different volcanoes around the world.
Opening hours: Open all year round from 9:00 to 17:00.
Must-see tips:
1. If there are many people in the exhibition hall, please line up outside the hall and wait.
2. To shorten the waiting time for other visitors, the museum may limit the visiting time for each period.
3. If you need to take photos, record videos, or use equipment such as tripods in the museum, you must obtain prior approval from the museum.
4. Please enter and exit the exhibition hall according to the entrance and exit signs and visit in a one-way direction.
