Largo do Lilau is a street located on the southwest side of the St. Anthony Parish on the peninsula. Its northeast end starts from Rua dos Mercadores das Frutas. Along the way, it intersects with Travessa das Rosas and Travessa da Paz. The southwest end ends at Rua do Monte and connects to Travessa da Pagode. The street is 100 meters long and about 5 meters wide. Originally, Lilau was a building originally named ‘Lan Kwai Lau’. Because it was burned and damaged by a fire, it was called ‘Largo do Lilau’. Later, this name was used by the Macau Portuguese authorities as a street name. During World War II, this place was an old material flea market. In the middle and late 20th century, it evolved into a concentration area of miscellaneous goods stores. The opening hours are subject to the opening status on the day.
