The Lin Zexu Memorial Museum houses a wealth of valuable historical materials, including the desk where Lin Zexu met with Portuguese officials at the Lianfeng Temple during his tenure, as well as his memorials to Emperor Daoguang regarding the prohibition, destruction, and inspection of opium. Inside the museum’s Imperial Stele Pavilion, there are three bluestone tablets inscribed with ‘Imperial Decree’ and ‘Imperial Bestowal of Sacrifice’. North of the pavilion is the Shude Hall, where a seated statue of Lin Zexu is enshrined, and the entire museum is designed in the style of a classical Chinese garden architecture. Open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Accessibility facilities include wheelchair-accessible restrooms.
