The predecessor of Yazhou Ancient City was a temple. During the renovation in 1993, its scale was expanded to the current situation. In addition to the main hall, an underground palace was also built, and mythological figures such as King Yama and ghost judges were imitated, creating a lot of terrifying atmosphere for tourists who come to visit.
