The Nantian Yizhu Stone is a conical marine-eroded granite, about 7 meters high. For thousands of years, it has stood on the coast of the South China Sea, defying the raging waves and showing a momentum of supporting the southern sky alone. The back pattern of the two-yuan RMB note of the 1990 edition is this stone landscape. The four vigorous and masculine characters ‘Nantian Yizhu’ were inscribed by Fan Yuntian, the magistrate of Yazhou in the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty (1909). Open all year round and all day. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
