Gangmenling Park, situated in Li’an Town, is colloquially known as Old Cat Ridge because of the distinctive large rock at the mountain’s peak, which bears a striking resemblance to a weary old cat resting. This geological feature has given the park its unique name.
From the ridge, visitors can access two viewing platforms that provide sweeping vistas of the harbor and its environs, as well as the entirety of Lingshui Bay. The deep azure sea water is tinged with a subtle hint of mint green, which, when contrasted with the cerulean sky, creates an especially captivating scene.
