Lingao Jiao is located 10 kilometers away from Lingao County, by the seaside, and is a promontory jutting out into the Qiongzhou Strait. At the tip of the promontory, there is a 250-meter long tidal reef stone dike that extends straight into the ocean, rumored to be left by immortals guiding people.
On the shore of Lingao Jiao, there is a kilometer-long beach with white sand and clear water, making it one of the excellent swimming beaches on the west coast.
The ‘Monument of Passionate Tribute’ standing in the Memorial Square is a more eye-catching sculpture here, consisting of two stone statues of soldiers standing and shouting in victory, showcasing the significant historical importance of this place.
