Located in the southwest of Tunchang County, over 20 kilometers away from the county town, the scenic area spans 28 square kilometers. Muse Lake, a renowned artificial lake in the central part of Hainan Island, features a vast lake surface, undulating green mountains, and lush aquatic vegetation along the lake shore, attracting numerous waterfowl. Over a hundred meters above Muse Lake is the Leigongtan Lake, with a waterfall cascading between the two lakes that thunders like thunder, hence the name Leigongtan Lake.
Surrounded by mountains on three sides, Leigongtan Lake offers a picturesque view. The Muse Tourism and Holiday Scenic Area revolves around these two lakes, with numerous peaks and a variety of wildlife inhabiting the area.
