As an emerging cultural brand in Hainan Special Economic Zone, the Hainan Island International Film Festival aims to create a ‘year-round exhibition, island-wide screening, public viewing, and full industry chain’ with the ‘Four Alls’ concept, striving to build a ‘never-ending film festival’ that is professional, popular, and international. Currently, the Hainan Island International Film Festival has been successfully held for five editions. In December 2024, the sixth Hainan Island International Film Festival will be held. This year’s festival will feature a global film collection divided into two main sections: the ‘Golden Coconut Awards’ competition and the exhibition unit. The opening period is from December 4th to December 10th.
