Jiangshan Peninsula

Jiangshan Peninsula is located on the shore of the Beibu Gulf in Fangchenggang City. It is also one of the areas where coastal attractions in the Beibu Gulf are concentrated. The coastline is long. There are many tourist attractions along the coast, including the strange rock beach with jagged rocks piercing the sky, the Bailang Beach (Dapingpo) with black sand and white waves, the Moon Bay with soft sand and clear water, the secluded and gentle White Sand Beach, the site of the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the period of aiding Vietnam against the United States, and the Bailong Fort with the title of ‘turtles and snakes guarding the water gap’. Most tourists visiting Jiangshan Peninsula will arrange about a day. Generally, starting from Moon Bay, they walk southwest along the coastline and see all kinds of beaches along the way. Bailang Beach in the middle of the coastline is the most popular place among several beaches. You can swim in the water or rent a sun umbrella and quietly enjoy the seaside time. Moreover, the sand here is black-brown due to its high titanium content. From time to time, white waves roll in by the seaside. The contrast between black and white is very distinctive. At the southwest end of the coastline is the strange rock beach. Here, there are many grotesque rocks and they are reddish-brown. So it is called the ‘Red Cliffs on the Sea’. Many people will come here to take pictures. The opening hours are subject to the opening status on the day.
