Ganchong Port is located on the west side of Ganchongxu in the northwest of Danzhou, Hainan. To the south is Yangpu Arm and to the west is the Beibu Gulf. The entrance of the port is narrow with many rocks and shallow water. When the tide is high, the water depth is 2 to 3 meters, and ships of about 40 tons can enter and exit. When the tide is low, the water depth is 0.4 to 1 meter, and only small sailing boats can pass. The approach channel to the port is 500 meters long and 100 meters wide. It is a small fishing port with more seafood. Open all year round and all day.
