Dongxing Qiao Pi Pavilion served as the delivery venue for overseas Chinese to send Qiao Pi, or remittance letters, to their homeland, housing a collection of numerous books about Qiao Pi culture and over 140 pieces of Qiao Pi artifacts.
Each yellowing letter is akin to an old photograph, accompanied by familiar yet distant dialects, traversing from the distant past to evoke our nostalgia and empathy with the overseas Chinese of that era for their ‘home’.
