The Imperial Qing Dynasty Beihai Post Office Museum is located on the eastern section of Zhongshan Road in Beihai City. This historical site is one of the most well-preserved post office locations in Guangxi. The museum exhibits the history of postal development in the Beihai region. The vintage yet weathered architecture is worth a visit.
Adjacent to the Old Beihai Street, the museum is situated in an area with a high concentration of old buildings in Beihai. This single-story, arched, rectangular building features an interior structure reminiscent of a Western church, with most doors and windows being arched, offering functions such as warmth in winter, coolness in summer, and moisture resistance. The main structure is well-preserved, exuding a vintage charm, surrounded by ancient banyan trees, creating a tranquil and elegant environment, which attracts many tourists for photography. Opening hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 09:00-12:00 and 14:30-16:30 all year round; closed all day on Mondays. Important note: Although the museum’s opening hours are clearly stated, many visitors have reported that the museum is often closed. It is not recommended to visit specifically for this attraction to avoid disappointment.Imperial Qing Dynasty Beihai Post Office Museum
