Bazhai Gully is a pristine natural landscape in Qinzhou City, rich in its original ecology. Tranquil bamboo forests, mountain streams, and fresh air make it a natural oxygen bar. The best season for visiting is summer, when the temperature is comfortable and the vegetation is lush, making it an ideal summer retreat. However, due to frequent summer rains, it is recommended to visit on a sunny day. After entering the gate and walking along a section of concrete road, you will see the Baizhai Gully water wheel. Continuing past the ticket office and along the road, you will reach the true entrance of the scenic area. At the entrance, there is a map of the scenic area, stalls selling swimming attire and small food items, as well as water.
The path ahead is an artificial plank road through the virgin forest, built along the stream, allowing for impromptu water play. From here, there are two routes to choose from: one leading to the core scenic area in the direction of Yaochi, and the other towards Wanshou Valley. Most visitors opt for the core scenic route, which passes several small bridges and beautiful pools where one can jump in and play.

During the rainy season, the pools are even more abundant with water. The ideal place for water play is General Tan. At General Tan, there are two ways to enjoy the experience: one is to play in the water, and if you haven’t bought a swimsuit before, you can purchase one here, albeit with fewer styles. There are small wooden huts available for changing. The second option is to continue forward to appreciate Yaochi.

If you choose to go to Yaochi, please allocate about 4 hours for the visit. The journey is filled with the original charm of tropical rainforest scenery, with strange rocks and clear springs.

Proceeding further to the Red Stone Square, visitors who cannot swim can play in the water on the square. Along the way, you will pass a lucky tree where you can make wishes and pray for blessings. Walking further, you will cross a Safety Bridge, at the head of which there is a spring where the water is drinkable directly from the source. Along the path, there are strange rocks, and the next stop, Nan Tian Men, is also a gathering place for such rocks. Finally, you will arrive at Yaochi, a larger pool within the scenic area, an artificial reservoir.
