Xu Aizhu’s Former Residence, originally constructed in 1931, faces east and is a three-story Sino-Western brick and concrete structure with a flat roof. It spans 19.5 meters in width and 31.7 meters in depth, covering an area of 618.15 square meters, with a total construction area of 3500 square meters.
The residence features four main entrances. The southeast entrance is adorned with two Ionic columns. Inside, there are four staircases, including two central ones. The railings are made of iron patterned grilles and concrete polished stone rice. The entire building is well-preserved and very sturdy.
This building holds significant value for the study of the history of Sino-Western architecture and commerce in Zhanjiang City during the modern era.
