Xixi National Wetland Park is located in the western part of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, less than 5 kilometers away from West Lake. The planned total area is 11.5 square kilometers, with more than 100 kilometers of rivers inside the wetland area. Approximately 70% of the area consists of rivers, ponds, lakes, and marshes.
The park is rich in ecological resources, has elegant natural landscapes, and profound cultural heritage. It is known as one of the ‘Three Wests’ of Hangzhou, along with West Lake and Xiling.
