Tianzhong Mountain, located six kilometers southwest of Fuyang District along the Fuchun River, covers an area of approximately 10,000 acres. It is named for its elongated shape, which from a distance resembles a bell. It is said to be the place where Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, fled after a defeat and later rose to power. Historical sites such as Zhuanmatan, Huangtaowu, Houjunling, and Tianzhong Zen Temple vividly record the story of Zhu Yuanzhang’s military campaigns.
