Ten Mile Langdang, also known as Langdang Ridge, was formerly called Menbi Ridge. Originally, it referred to the mountain range to the east of Tianzhu Mountain, west of Longjing Village, and northeast of Meijiawu Village. Now, it is customary to collectively call the mountain ranges from Wuyun Mountain in the south to Tianzhu area in the north as ‘Langdang Ridge’. Due to the mountain range winding for about several kilometers, it is named ‘Ten Mile Langdang’. The geological landform of the Ten Mile Langdang scenic area is mainly limestone, naturally forming a mountain forest landscape with overlapping peaks and diverse postures. It is a relatively long mountain ridge among the mountains of West Lake, with an average altitude of more than 200 meters. The view is wide and the scenery is clear and beautiful. The main natural landscape in the scenic area is the continuous tea mountains. Looking from an open place, the large tea mountains are clearly layered, the scenery is lush and green, and the scenery is very pleasant. It is a holy land for taking photos in tea plantations.
