Qingshan Lake, an artificial lake located about four to five kilometers east of Lin’an city, boasts a clear and open landscape with minimal embellishments. One of the must-see attractions on the lake is the water forest, where unique fir trees thrive in the water with lush branches. In addition to the natural beauty, the scenic area also features a barbecue garden and a small amusement park, offering activities such as water parachuting.
The primary way to enjoy Qingshan Lake is by taking a cruise. Tickets for boarding can be purchased at both the Qinshan Dock and Shenghe Dock on the south side of the lake, with boarding and disembarking at the same dock. A cruise not only allows visitors to appreciate the lake scenery but also to visit the main attractions such as the water forest and water platforms along the route, with unlimited time for onshore exploration.
Taking a boat to the water forest takes approximately 40 minutes. The tall and straight trunks of the Chinese firs standing in the lake water are the eye-catching scenery of Qingshan Lake and a place where almost every visitor takes photos. Near the water forest, there is an amusement park called ‘Water Forest Challenge’ where visitors can enjoy games such as water rock climbing, battlefield barrels, and water soft bridges. Additionally, some water activities on the water platform in the middle of the lake are worth participating in, such as motorboats and water parachuting, based on personal preferences.
Please note that preferential groups are required to purchase tickets at the original price for speedboats and sightseeing vehicles. For individuals between 1.2 meters (not included) and 1.5 meters (included), the cruise ticket is 60 yuan per person.
