Qiandao Lake Xianren Valley Drifting, developed and constructed by Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Fuxi Tourism Development Co., Ltd. in accordance with the 3A scenic area standards, is currently the first drifting site in Qiandao Lake to be built to 3A standards. The drifting site is 40KM from Qiandao Lake Town and 25KM from Jiande City, with very convenient transportation. It is also 10KM from the ‘First Stone Forest in Eastern China’ and a necessary route for tourists entering the Stone Forest scenic area.
The drifting course of Qiandao Lake Xianren Valley Drifting is 2.9 kilometers long with a total drop of 125 meters. The main water source for the drifting is a rare spring water gushing from a cave. The entire drifting process takes about 50 minutes. Due to the winding river course and significant drop, there are rapids and shoals everywhere, making the experience thrilling and exciting.
For the first 1KM of the drifting start, both banks are covered with lush secondary forests, ancient vines, and the fragrance of birds and flowers, with the valley’s strange rocks being majestic and beautiful. Drifting through and touring the area, one can not only experience the joy of riding the waves and fighting the current but also enjoy the enchanting scenery along the way, providing a sense of exploration, curiosity, and interest.
After the drifting boat passes through the ancient village of Lingzhu, the view suddenly opens up, and the river water becomes much calmer. What comes into view is a landscape of bamboo forests, tea gardens, and orchards, a typical mountain residence and pastoral scenery.The entire construction of Xianren Valley Drifting follows the Huizhou architectural style and is built along the mountains. It has complete service functions, including hot water bathing, changing rooms, and a restaurant that can accommodate 150 people at the same time. The restaurant offers special local delicacies from the Stone Forest, such as grouper, stone chicken, high mountain chickens, and farmhouse dishes. Xianren Valley Drifting is known as the ‘First Drift in Eastern China’ by tourists for its unique water source and topography. The opening time is from September 2nd to October 7th, from 10:00 to 14:00. The drifting time is at 14:00. If there are any changes to the drifting time, it will be based on the scenic area’s on-site schedule.
