Ningbo Wild Animal Park is located in Dongqian Lake Resort. The zoo has two gates, south and north. The north gate is the main entrance. Nearby is the starting station of the battery car. Entering from the north gate and turning right is the Lion and Tiger Pavilion where you can see large mammals like African lions and Siberian tigers. Further inside, there are sika deer, zebras, elephants and so on. Opposite the north entrance is the exhibition area of birds and snakes.
The south gate is far from the main viewing area. Entering from here is the Wind Chime Square and Pigeon Garden.
In the southwest, on the Happy Square, there is the Mischievous Monkey Restaurant where you can have a meal. Behind the restaurant, in the amusement park, you can play amusement projects such as Ferris wheel and bumper cars.
There are four performance venues in the park. Animals like elephants, tigers, lions, monkeys and parrots will perform on stage. At the same time, there are wonderful acrobatic and ethnic customs performances. For performance times and venues, please refer to the scenic area announcements.
Since there is a relatively wide water area in the park, you can also take a boat tour on the water. Another special feature is the ‘Alien Creature Museum’ in Wolong Cave, which consists of four sections: Viewing the Earth from Space, Alien Laboratory, Alien Family, and Terrifying Aliens. The park has a rich variety of animals, interesting amusement projects and performance activities. It is suitable for taking children to popular science sightseeing and learning about animals.It is mysterious and interesting.
