Ningbo Wild Animal Park is located within the Dongqian Lake Resort area, featuring a rich variety of animals and entertaining amusement rides and performances, making it an ideal place for children to learn and explore. The park has two main entrances, the South Gate and the North Gate. The South Gate is farther from the main viewing areas and leads to the Wind Chime Plaza and Pigeon Garden. The North Gate is the primary entrance, with the starting point for electric carts nearby.

Upon entering the North Gate and turning right, visitors will find the Lion and Tiger Pavilion, home to large mammals such as African lions and Northeast tigers. Further inside, one can encounter sika deer, zebras, elephants, and more. Directly opposite the North entrance is the bird and snake exhibition area. In the southwest corner of the park, the Joy Plaza features the Mischievous Monkey Restaurant for dining.

Behind the restaurant, a playground offers rides like ferris wheels and bumper cars. The park houses four performance venues where animals such as elephants, tigers, lions, monkeys, and parrots will showcase their talents, along with exciting acrobatics and ethnic performances. Performance times and locations are detailed in the park’s announcements. Due to the park’s extensive water areas, visitors can also enjoy boat tours.

Another unique feature is the ‘Alien Life Museum’ in Wolong Cave, composed of four sections: viewing Earth from space, alien laboratories, alien families, and terrifying aliens, offering a mysterious and interesting experience. Opening hours are from November 1st to April 28th from 09:00 to 16:30; and from April 29th to October 31st from 08:30 to 16:30.

Concessions are offered to children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) for free; those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters (inclusive) receive discounted tickets. Elderly individuals aged 70 and above qualify for discounted tickets. Disabled individuals with a disability certificate (for safety considerations, it is recommended that a guardian accompanies them into the park; accompanying individuals must purchase a separate ticket) are admitted for free.

Active military personnel with relevant documents receive discounted tickets. Journalists with valid press credentials are admitted for free.
