The Hangzhou West Lake International Golf and Country Club is a modern golf vacation center with comprehensive development and overall supporting facilities. Covering an area of about 4,000 mu, the golf course presents a typical North American open style. The villas and the golf course are landscapes to each other and complement each other. The 18-hole course in the north of West Lake Golf was completed and put into use in 1997. Surrounded by green hills, the golf course is grandly spread among lakes, woods and brooks. It undulates gently with the natural terrain. The Jiangnan style of small bridges and flowing water is perfectly integrated with the course design of Nicklaus as if made by nature. The first 9 holes are spacious and grand. The fairways are gentle but not without difficulty. The winding water flows and one follows step by step. Players must be very strategic and choose the correct offensive route to feel pleasure. The design of the latter 9 holes emphasizes adapting to local conditions. The golf course is perfectly combined with the original terrain and natural features. The design of the fairways is more challenging and at the same time has higher requirements for players’ golf skills. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 21:00.
