The former residence is located at Guan Guan Nong, Daxue Road, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City. It was personally selected and designed by Yu himself and was completed in the spring of 1936. This is a small brick and wood building that combines Chinese and Western architectural styles, elegant and graceful, and is known as ‘Wind and Rain Thatched Cottage’.
Opening hours: The site is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 08:30 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 16:30 all year round; it is closed all day on Mondays and Sundays.
