Established in 2000, the Zhejiang Wuyue Ancient Ceramics Museum, originally known as the Zhejiang Ancient Ceramics Museum, is the first provincial private museum approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau. The museum’s primary focus is to showcase the 7,000-year-old ancient pottery culture and the dawn of 5,000 years of civilization.

Our museum boasts a rich collection of over 2,000 prehistoric cultural relics from the Hemudu and Liangzhu cultures. These artifacts are meticulously categorized into pottery, bone ware, stoneware, and wooden ware, offering a multifaceted view of the 5,000-year history of Chinese civilization. The collections illustrate various aspects such as dietary culture, drinking culture, agricultural production, textile technology, ancient art, primitive writing, and the observation of celestial bodies like the sun, moon, and stars.

Visitors can explore the museum from 10:00 to 21:00 throughout the year. Please note that the specific business status may vary depending on the opening situation on any given day.
