The Huangmei Opera Pavilion was established on August 19, 2006, and is managed and operated by Anqing City 5235 Huangmei Opera Pavilion Co., Ltd. The pavilion is located at No. 633, Renmin Road, in the bustling city of Anqing, covering a total area of 1200 square meters. The interior decoration is based on Huizhou architecture, featuring eaves and carved railings, exuding an antique charm, simple elegance, and solemnity, with a strong flavor of traditional opera. The pavilion is divided into two parts: the front area is a public art exhibition hall, displaying a large number of old photos related to Huangmei Opera, allowing visitors and tea drinkers to gain a preliminary understanding of the development of Huangmei Opera. The center of the pavilion is the performance hall, with a medium-sized stage for performances, flanked by festive red lanterns. The hall draws on the art of ancient tea houses, with mahogany tables and chairs that are solemn and elegant, capable of accommodating more than 200 spectators at a time. Drawing on the art of ancient tea houses, the viewing seats are divided into two levels. The first level has 12 mahogany tables, close to the stage, allowing for an up-close appreciation of Huangmei Opera performances. The second floor of the pavilion has three large private boxes with separate viewing platforms, allowing a panoramic view of the stage from above. Additionally, there are 12 card seats and two card boxes on both sides of the hall and the second floor, allowing the audience to experience the unique charm of Huangmei Opera from various angles. The pavilion is open to the public from 20:30 to 22:00 all year round.
