Baizhangtan is approximately 32 kilometers away from Anwen Town in Pan’an County. It is known for its waterfalls, pools, and streams, with the scenic area primarily composed of three-tiered waterfalls. The stream cascades down the steep cliffs into the Qiyu Pool, with three waterfalls connected, creating a unique and layered waterfall structure. During the rainy season, the waterfalls are even more spectacular, and visiting in the summer offers a refreshing experience.
The entire route of the scenic area is designed around the central stream, making it easy to walk. Upon entering the area, you will find a corridor bridge from where you can take an electric car to the Wukeng Rest Pavilion on the left (10 yuan per trip), and then begin walking. However, it is recommended to walk up the mountain counterclockwise and take the car back down the mountain to avoid the steep uphill road.

Walking towards the Zhulian Waterfall on the right side, the path is gentle and gradually ascends, with each waterfall more beautiful than the last, offering continuous surprises. Following the trail upwards, you will be accompanied by streams and bamboo forests, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Passing by Longtan Lake and Xiankeng Waterfall, you will reach the higher viewpoint, the Guanputing, where the classic Baizhangtan, Wolongtan, and Qiyu Pool are located.

The scenery of the waterfalls and deep pools here is very majestic. From here, you can descend the mountain along the Jinli Ancient Path, and at the end, you will find the Wukeng Rest Pavilion. After a short rest, you can take the electric car back to the exit. The Jinli Ancient Path is steep and not surrounded by many attractions, making it a more relaxed way to descend the mountain.
