Cuiwei Pavilion is located on the hillside of Feilai Peak. There are many large pavilions adjacent to springs on the hillside. However, Cuiwei Pavilion stands out as it can only be seen when one climbs to the mid-level of the mountain.
This pavilion is related to Yue Fei. General Yue once wrote a poem titled ‘Climbing the Cuiwei Pavilion in Chizhou’. The Cuiwei Pavilion in Hangzhou was built by another famous anti-Jin general, Han Shizhong, in memory of Yue Fei after his demise. Therefore, the pavilion has also acquired an aura of loyalty and righteousness.
Nowadays, when visiting Feilai Peak, many tourists come here to take commemorative photos. The pavilion is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
