It serves as an open historical exhibition of the image history of the Allied diplomatic missions stationed in Chongqing during the war. It showcases the significant contributions and national sacrifices made by the Chinese and American peoples in the war to achieve justice for humanity and world peace, reminding people to cherish and maintain the hard-won world peace. In 2009, it was designated by the Third Plenary Session of the Fifth Chongqing Municipal Committee as one of the 120 key projects for the protection of sites from the War of Resistance.
