The Rongchang Mosque was first built in the 22nd year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. It was initially constructed by the Hai ethnic Hui people who immigrated and settled in Qingliu Town. Currently, it has a construction area of 5.5 million square meters and a 2-mu cemetery for Hui people. In the main hall, there is still a plaque inscribed with ‘Ten Thousand False Ones and One True’ presented by Bai Chongxi. Qingliu Town in Rongchang District is an area where the folk customs of Hui people in Chongqing are relatively well-preserved.
