Dàomíngsì was first built in the Hongwu year of the Ming Dynasty (1369 AD). Currently, on the left side of Dàomíngsì is an earthen wall and tile-roofed house, which is the old site of the ancient temple. On the right side are three grand halls, which are the newly rebuilt sites. The three precious halls are built along the mountain. In the middle of the main hall, Maitreya Buddha is enshrined. On its left side are successively Taishang Laojun, Jade Emperor, and King of Medicine. On the right side are successively Confucius Sage and Guanyin. In the left wing of the hall are successively Bodhisattvas such as Dongyue, Nanyue, Chuanzhu, and Tuzhu.
