Qian Runyu Runyu has both Chinese and Western music learning backgrounds and has unique talents and abilities for songwriting. Her works are highly personal. She hopes to promote Chinese traditional culture to the world in a more innovative form by integrating elements of Chinese classical music into modern songs. From songwriting, singing to arranging and production, Qian Runyu Runyu has gradually grown into an all-round singer-songwriter. At the end of 2023, she officially released her first Chinese-English bilingual album as a singer-songwriter, ‘FUSS!ON’, and was fully involved in every production detail. The album name is derived from the intersection of two words, FUSS and FUSION, which represents the fusion of diverse music styles. There is also an exclamation mark (!) in the album name. That is Qian Runyu Runyu’s beautiful hope of connecting herself (i) with music and then astonishing listeners. Coming to the ‘FUSS!ON’ tour site, you will hear the pop framework with North American flavor in most of the track timbres, hear the electronic shell with European flavor, hear unique Chinese national instruments such as the pipa and ruan, and also hear the fusion collision of Eastern timbres and Western Bassline and electronic synthesizers in different dimensions, creating impactful timbral sparks.
