The Red Bean Mountain Villa is located in Furong Village, Guli Town, Changshu City, Jiangsu Province. It was originally named Bixu Mountain Villa. It was built in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty and has a long history. It became famous for a time due to the poems and essays of Qian Qianyi and Liu Rushi, a famous courtesan in the south of the Yangtze River, and their romantic relationship between an old man and a beautiful woman.
With the changes of history, the mountain villa has experienced many vicissitudes. All the old buildings were destroyed, and only one red bean tree survived tenaciously. In order to reproduce the legendary and romantic story of Qian and Liu, the Guli Town government and Suzhou Automobile Transportation Group rebuilt the Red Bean Mountain Villa on the original site of the mountain villa and implanted many amusement projects, creating multiple amusement areas with romantic themes, allowing tourists to love here, have fun here, and enjoy romantic heart-pounding moments. The Red Bean Mountain Villa is a one-stop tourist attraction integrating cultural tourism, parent-child vacation, leisure vacation, and team building and expansion.
