The former site of the Steamship Navigation Bureau is located in Huangpu District, Shanghai. Originally known as the flag-raising foreign trade building, it is also referred to as the Navigation Bureau Building. The property initially belonged to the flag-raising foreign trade, and in 1891, it was purchased by the Steamship Navigation Bureau. The building seen today has been reconstructed by the Steamship Navigation Bureau. After the liberation, the building was used by the Shanghai Port Supervision Bureau and other units, hence it is also called the Port Supervision Building.
