Hongqiao Riverside Park covers an area of approximately 28,000 square meters, shaped in an inverted ‘L’ following the flow of the Suzhou River. It extends 210 meters along the east-west direction of the Suzhou River and 240 meters along the north-south direction.
The entire park is embraced by the Suzhou River and features tree-lined walkways, flower corridors, and large lawns. In addition to these, a Suzhou River Memorial Hall will be constructed. Along the Suzhou River, there are flood prevention passages and pedestrian walkways planned, along with municipal supporting facilities.
The park boasts a greenery coverage of over 70%. It is open from January 1st to December 31st, from 06:00 to 21:00 daily.
