This is the stage play ‘Blossoms’ performed in Shanghai. The entire play is in Shanghai dialect. Both seasons of the stage play follow the writing style of Jin Yucheng’s original work. Using the alternating method of the 1960s and 1970s and the 1990s, through the fates of A Bao, Hu Sheng, and Xiao Mao, multiple group portraits of characters are connected. In the strong contrast of time scenes, the trend of changes in personal fates is presented. The interlaced narrative of time and the ingenious stage design that shows the flow of time form a unique ‘Blossoms aesthetics’. Opening hours: August 23 – September 10, Wednesday to Sunday, open all day.
