Qingyin Cave

Qingyin Cave is a natural rock cave located at the midsection of the base of the Great Buddha Rock. The cave stands 3.5 meters high, with an entrance diameter of 2.2 meters. Inside, it is approximately 4 meters deep and wide. On the right side of the cave, there is a stone seam that is 20 meters long and only 10 centimeters wide, extending straight to the top of the cave. Sunlight shines through this seam, which is referred to as the ‘Peach Blossom Slit Sky’. This cave is connected to a cave mouth on the north side of Xiazhi Gate, and it is known for its ability to transmit sound clearly and distinctly, hence the name ‘Qingyin Cave’. This feature coincides with the Qingyin Cave in the novel ‘The Legend of the Condor Heroes’ and is a major attraction of the Condor Heroes Tourism City. It is open all year round from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
